Children's Birthday Parties A trained staff member directs a hands-on science program in the Science and Technology Center. A tee shirt and badge is given to the birthday boy or girl. A food serving area is available for party festivities along with use of refrigerator and freezer space. There is free admission to the STC for birthday guests and one chaperone per child. All party goers will receive a 10% discount in the gift shop on the day of the party. Partygoers have use of the STC facility for up to 2 hours. Parties arranged by reservation only. Start times are flexible. During the school year: Saturdays 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Sundays 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. During summer: Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Sundays 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Birthday Party Packages Simple Party - for up to 15 children - $100 Use of STC for up to 2 hours Beginner's Rocket Party - for up to 15 children - $150 Construct and launch paper rockets using an air compressor, including use of STC for up to 2 hrs. Slimy Party - for up to 15 children - $175 Make your own slime, including use of STC for up to 2 hrs. Ultimate Rocket Party - for up to 15 children - $ 200 plus $3/child for materials Construct and launch chemical rockets, including use of STC for up to 2 hrs. Flying High Party - for up to 15 children - $300 Construct and launch chemical rockets. Use of Challenger bounce house. Includes use of STC for up to 4 hours. Take Me to Space Party - for 16 - 20 people - $550 Mini space mission at the Challenger Learning Center (1 hr.) and use of STC for an additional hour.
