PRIVATE EVENTS & RENTALS

We offer birthday parties, private parties, corporate training, and meeting facilities.

These events may include:

• rental of Challenger Learning Center auditorium with adjacent kitchen facilities where caterers may work
• rental of the Science and Technology Center facilities
• a simulated mission to Comet Halley, the Moon, or Mars

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance, and payment is due at the time of the reservation.
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.
CCLF members receive a $25.00 discount for party packages.

CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Each party includes a 45 minute hands-on science program in our science museum, a free t-shirt and badge for the birthday child, and free admission to the science museum for the birthday guests and one chaperone per child. A food serving area is available for party festivities with use of refrigerator and freezer space. All party goers will receive a 10% discount in the gift shop on the day of the party.

Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Simple Party - for up to 15 children - $100
Use of Science Museum for up to 2 hours

Harmonograph Party - for up to 15 children - $125
Design your own three color picture.
Use of Science Museum for up to two hours (includes program time)

Slimy Party - for up to 15 children - $175
Make your own slime
Use of Science Museum for up to two hours (includes program time)

Beginner's Rocket Party - for up to 15 children - $150
Construct and launch paper rockets using an air compressor
Use of Science Museum for up to three hours (includes program time)

Water Rocket Party - for up to 15 children - $ 200
Construct and launch eggstronauts (1 1/2 hrs.)
Use of Science Museum for up to three hours (includes program time)

Ultimate Rocket Party - for up to 15 children - $ 225 plus $3/child for materials
Construct and launch chemical rockets (1 1/2 hrs.)
Use of Science Museum for up to three hours (includes program time)

Super Star Party - for up to 15 children - $225
Planetarium Dome Show of your choice (1hr)
Use of Science Museum for up to three hours (includes program time)

Take Me to Space Party - for 16 - 20 people - $550
Mini space mission at the Challenger Learning Center (1 hr.)
Use of Science Museum for up to two hours (includes program time)
There is a $5 fee plus parts cost per additional child exceeding party package.

All parties:
$25 for each additional hour

Corporate membership at the Castle Challenger Learning Center/Castle Science and Technology Center includes distinguished and committed companies throughout the Central Valley that want to make a real difference in the lives of Californians. • Unlimited free admission for your designated company representative for one year. (Executive Membership Card)
• 20% discount on the center's individual and family memberships for all employees.

Companies can choose from three different levels of membership:

Colleague $1000

Curator $2500

Basic corporate membership benefits, plus:

• 25% discount on one facility rental and in-house event coordination
• 35 one-time guest passes for museum general admission
• Two Executive Membership cards

Director $5000

Basic corporate membership benefits, plus:

• 50% discount on one facility rental and in-house event coordination
• 50 one-time guest passes for museum general admission
• Corporate Day at the Museum, including free admission for all employees and guests
• Four Executive Membership cards
