SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER TOUR
AND CSI SCENARIO
Science
& Technology Center programs begin with a guided
tour and a SCAVENGER HUNT, which together last about
45 minutes. We offer different Scavenger Hunts for
each grade level. All questions are based on California
Science Standards.
The remainder of the time is self-guided: viewing
and interacting with our numerous hands-on exhibits.
Total duration is typically one to two hours.
$105
for up to 25 primary students and additional chaperones |

|
|
CHEM MYSTERY
The
Scavenger Hunt is often combined with our popular
CSI scenario: CHEM MYSTERY. Students become science
detectives as they step inside a crime scene. They
must deduce who committed the crime by visiting
the site of the dastardly deed, listening to the
alibis of the various suspects, and using forensic
techniques in our crime lab. Duration is typically
one hour.
Chem
Mystery can be combined with the Scavenger Hunt
for an additional $50.00 per group per session. |

Introduce
children to the wonderful world of astronomy in
our 12 ft. high, 20 ft. diameter inflatable planetarium!

of which about one-half is spent in the planetarium.
The remaining time includes hands-on and interactive
activities. |

EARTH'S WILD RIDE!
Join a family viewing the Earth from the moon
in the year 2081 during a solar eclipse. In this
3-D animated film, as a grandfather tells his grandchildren
about how Earth was and is like, we see roaring
dinosaurs, crashing asteroids, and ice age mammoths.
We travel through canyons of raging rivers, over
an erupting volcano, and through a thunder and lightning
storm. Children learn about eclipses, Earth's water
cycle, and the differences between Earth and Moon.
JOURNEY
TO SPACE
In this exciting simulation for grades
1 - 3, children ride the shuttle "Destiny"
to the International Space Station, where they conduct
hands-on science experiments.
1 hour $150 for up
to 25 children
SECRET
OF THE CARDBOARD ROCKET
Climb aboard a magical cardboard rocket with
two young adventurers. Aided by their ship's navigator,
an astronomy book, visit each of our solar system's
